Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. Typical hours are 12β9 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (718) 799-1379. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, diamond-slice.com.
Customers rate it 4.7 out of 5 on Google across 293 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded pizza restaurants in Brooklyn.
Brooklyn is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Brooklyn peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

They offer a wide selection of pizza by the slice. Slices heated to order you wouldn't know it wasn't directly from the oven. The level of crisp the slices have is crazy. The mushroom pie was wonderful and those ricotta dolaps just ughhh. The Ceasar slice was different but oddly intriguing. I wish the Ceasars slice had the crisp but it was a cold slice. The chocolate chip cookie was 10/10 so chocolaty and chewy!

Tried this place for the first time today with four friends. I loved the tomato slice I got. The people I was with also really liked the Sicilian slice. However, the specialty slices they got were not great. The French Onion slice was gloopy and too dense and the Elote slice they said just tasted kind of weird and didnβt really work in execution. So I would 100 percent recommend this place with the caveat that the usual suspects are much better than the experimental slices.

4-star Google review: Stopped by Diamond Slice in Brooklyn and ordered the elote slice and the Sicilian sliceβboth were really tasty. Great flavors, and the Sicilian had a nice thick, soft crust. Prices are very reasonable and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I also liked the old-school Japanese music they were playing insideβit gave the place a cool, unique vibe. Solid spot for a quick slice and Iβll definitely be back.

Updated Review!! Diamond Slice has received plenty of buzz since opening in Greenpoint, and the space earns it. Situated right at the intersection of Diamond Street, the dining room takes on an almost pentagon-like shape once youβre inside, a unique layout that matches the energy of the corner it sits on. The dΓ©cor is cool, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere delivers. But we come for the pizza. On my first visit, I ordered the classic slice as a baseline. The tomato sauce was excellent! bright, well-seasoned, and clearly made with quality ingredients. The crust was where it lost me. Too floppy, a little too chewy, nothing that stood out. I left giving it 3 out of 5. After posting that review, the owners reached out directly to let me know that my visit had coincided with a dough fermentation issue and that the soggy, floppy texture I experienced was not representative of how their pizza normally comes out. There was an electric outage before I went that caused them to use 1 day fermented dough. That kind of follow-up says a lot about how much they care. So I went back on June 3rd around 6:30 PM to give them a fair shot. Different experience entirely. The place was not

Diamond Slice is like that old school, local pizza shop everybody knew and loved, but transported to the modern day with all of us. The owner is a wonderful ma who grew up right here, and the whole crew is always a delight. The pizzas are stunning, I highly recommend trying the Elote or the French Onion slices. Their classic icons like Pepperoni and Cheese are also to die for. The dough is always perfect and the cheese has that iconic stretch.
